What guests say

★★★★★

Billy was by far the best tour guide we’ve had. … We saw beautiful Oia, churches, beaches, cliff side winery with a view of the caldera, highest point in Santorini, and the list goes on. All while still making stops for us for restroom breaks and making sure we made it back to cruise ship perfectly on time to see sunset.

What to expect

This half-day tour mixes quieter corners of the island with food grown on Santorini or caught nearby.

A local farm

First, a local farm, where you taste vegetables, fruit and herbs grown on the island. Specialties include cherry tomatoes, honey, thyme, watermelon and tomato fritters.

Akrotiri lighthouse

Five minutes from the farm is the lighthouse at the island’s southwestern tip, a short stop for the sea views.

Art Space winery

Art Space is a traditional, family-run winery in the village of Exo Gonia. Taste wines made from grapes native to the island, and hear from a local winemaker how they are made.

Emporio and lunch in Kamari

In Emporio, take photos of the ruins of the old fortress. Then it’s on to Kamari for lunch at a family-run tavern, with traditional dishes that change with the seasons.

Nik arranged for a beer/wine tasting tour followed by a home cooked dinner from a local small holder. … Chris was very knowledgeable about the wines but surpassed himself with his culinary knowledge and skills.

Before we left I knew that we wanted a more personal and tailored tour to explore Santorini than the cruise ship was offering. … it was a brilliant tour and possibly the best one we took during the week.
